Before you connect 1Password SaaS Manager to Tailscale, you’ll need to create a client ID and client secret in Tailscale, then you can connect the Tailscale integration to SaaS Manager:
- Sign in to your Tailscale account and navigate to Settings > Trust credentials.
- Select + Credential.
- Make sure OAuth is selected and enter “SaaS Manager” as the description, then select Continue.
- Under General next to Users, select Read and Write.
- Under Devices next to Core, select Read and Write.
- Select Add tags, then select at least one applicable tag.
- At the bottom of the page, select Generate credential. A pop-up will open with your new client ID and client secret.
- In a new tab, sign in to your SaaS Manager account and navigate to Integrations > Tailscale.
- Select Connect.
- Copy the Client ID and Client secret from your Tailscale tab into the Connect to Tailscale pop-up in SaaS Manager.
- Select the features you want to enable for your Tailscale integration, then select Connect.
